It seems as though fibromyalgia could have a new face to represent it’s vast growing community – a celebrity face that is. With the acknowledgment of fibromyalgia as a real condition and chronic illness, more and more people are stepping forward with their diagnosis including celebrities with fibromyalgia. Who are they? Let’s take a look.
Guess which celebrities have #fibromyalgia! Share on X
Celebrities with fibromyalgia:
- Morgan Freeman
- Janeane Garofalo
- Michael James Hastings
- Sinead O’Connor
- Florence Nightingale
- And more!
It would be a step forward to have a celebrity with fibromyalgia talk about the illness and be the spokesperson. This would encourage more open talks about the illness and spread its awareness.
There are many people living with this chronic illness that do not talk about it due to embarrassment, lack of knowledge, or other reasons. We, the fibromyalgia community, need to encourage those to talk about it and know they have support.

This is really interesting. So many people deny that fibro is a “real” illness and tend to think it’s all in our heads. I think having well-known people step forward and talk about it would be very good for raising awareness.
My mother has been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and I’m waiting to be diagnosed also. It is not a fun thing to live with, the pain can be so intense and come so suddenly. I have learnt to recognize some things that cause it, like gluten and stress. But sometimes it’s impossible to prevent and you just have to ride the pain.
Yes, it is difficult to stop the pain; however, try some of my natural treatments while you wait for a diagnosis in order to relieve some of the pain. Here is the link for my effective natural treatment – https://www.beingfibromom.com/natural-treatment-regiment-for-chronic-pain/

Very interesting! I didn’t know any of these individuals have fibromyalgia. It’s inspiring to see how they are able to live happy, productive lives despite their pain.
